How many guests can the Gardens accommodate?
There are several locations available and depending on the area selected, up to 300 guests can be seated in the Gardens.
Is there an alternate space if the weather turns bad?
The beautiful Terrace room which opens onto the Terrace Patio and Gardens is held in reserve in case of inclement weather. So even if the weather is bad, your special day will still have a wonderful view of the Gardens.
Can the reception and/or meal be held at the same location?
We highly recommend making this a one-stop event for you and your guests. Full-service catering and beverage is provided by Meadowbrook Country Club, letting you relax and enjoy your special day. In addition, we are able to host the rehearsal dinner and even brunch the following day.
How are the arrangements for the Gardens and catering coordinated?
Our Event Planner is available to assist with every step of the way from planning to final details.
What décor is available?
We have a variety of packages which include white linens, tables, chairs, mirrors and hurricane lamps. Additional items are available through our associated rental vendors. Our staff is happy to help coordinate a total package to meet your needs.
Are the Gardens easy for guests to locate? Is there convenient parking?
Yes, we are easily reached from anywhere in Richmond and only 20 minutes from downtown. See directions on our Contact page. The adjoining parking space provides sufficient parking for your party and can accommodate a bus if you are providing transportation for out-of-town guests.
Are the Gillette Gardens available for Engagement/Bridal photos?
